If you want to configure a wanscam outdoor IP camera without using the given tools, you just have to know that the camera is using dhcp by default and the default port is 99… That’s it !

Many thanks for that info. The wanscam server has been taken down and the WAN option is not working now on Eview-7 app. Do you know if there is an alternative app for these cameras?

Sorry, I don’t, I use synology webcam manager since a while to manage that cam in my local network. So I do not use the app. Basically I do not trust these webcam solution so I prefer to get them inside my network without router configuration set … my two cents.
